About the work
You can display this mini wall art in a small space.
The artist was inspired by the pure white snow, the clear and transparent sky, and the trees that have lost their leaves.
This mysterious painting reflects the natural scenery in your mind.
Why don’t you look through such a small window from your room?
This mini canvas art work is handmade in Japan.
Japanese traditional shoji lattice pattern
The pattern of shoji latticework in traditional Japanese houses is the essence of this painting.
In Japan, where forests cover much of the land, houses have long been built using wood.
In traditional Japanese houses, shoji screens, which are wooden frames covered with Japanese paper, are used as doors to rooms.
Linen canvas became part of the painting.
This oil painting is on linen canvas.
Linen canvases are flax colored, unlike white cotton canvases.
When I made use of the color of the linen canvas, even the parts that were not painted became part of the painting.

Paints Used
This painting was created using Holbein DUO, a water-soluble oil paint (Excluding gold paint). Duo’s series of paints that do not contain toxic substances have received the “AP Mark” certification from the ACMI (American Council of Materials for the Arts and Crafts) in the United States.
However, only the gold color is made with Holbein’s regular oil paint “Gold”.
They are produced without the use of volatile solvents.
