The source of inspiration
Many lives in nature are round in shape: flowers such as ranunculus and roses, fruits such as apples and tangerines, vegetables such as tomatoes and pumpkins, and cross sections of tree trunks.
Round-shaped ranunculus flower
Gazing at the many living things made of curves, I felt that round shapes might be the source of life, which led me to create this work focusing on round shapes.
The wonder of the round world is expressed by painting on a round canvas.
Paints Used
This painting was created using Holbein DUO, a water-soluble oil paint.
Duo’s series of paints do not contain toxic substances and have received the “AP Mark” certification from the ACMI (American Council of Materials for the Arts and Crafts) in the United States.
They are produced without the use of volatile solvents.
Since the paintings are to be displayed in your room, we choose art materials that are friendly to both people and the environment.
